After being back in a regular sweater at the morning skate prior to Wednesday's game against the Anaheim Ducks, Jake Muzzin was back in a red "no contact" jersey at practice today. This likely rules Muzzin out for tomorrow nights game against the Detroit Red Wings.
The Leafs shuffled the deck with the roster today, with Marlies defenseman Carl Dahlstrom being called up from the AHL to the Leafs' taxi sqaud, while Alex Biega was sent from the taxi squad down to the Marlies.
Assuming Muzzin is out for tomorrow's game. The Leafs defense will likely look the same as it did on Wednesday. Muzzin has yet to be officially ruled out, but given that fact that he hasn't been doing contact drills, it is not reasonable to expect that he's playing tomorrow.
With lines likely staying the same tomorrow. Shuffling Dahlstrom and Biega is likely just getting different players skating with the Leafs.
