On Thursday morning, long-time Maple Leafs PA announcer Mike Ross confirmed that he has been extended by the team and will be back behind the mic at Scotiabank Arena for the 10th consecutive season.

The news of the extension for Mike Ross comes on the heels of another key hire for the organization, as Sportnet's Ryan Leslie was hired by the Maple Leafs as their new team host, providing in depth pre-game and post-game coverage, as well as sharing breaking news and facilitating player and coach interviews for the team.
The Leafs are coming into the 2025-26 season having endured some fairly significant changes following the departure of Mitch Marner, who was shipped off to Vegas ahead of free agency.
