Jason Spezza has the same love and admiration for Jack Campbell as the rest of us
Jason Spezza spoke to the media today and he had a lot to say. One thing that he went on about was his admiration for goaltender, Jack Campbell. Spezza had this to say in regards to the Leafs' netminder.
Spezza touched on his longstanding relationship with Campbell. The two were teammates when they were in the Dallas Stars organization. Despite Campbell only playing one career game for the Stars, Spezza said that Soupy had "the same work ethic, that same youthfulness to him."
Spezza works with the goalies before practice and it's how he and Campbell have developed such a strong relationship. Spezza was with Campbell when he found out that he was selected to play in the All-Star Game and Spezza joked that he was more excited than Campbell was.
The veteran forward had great things to say about Campbell's determination and work ethic. Despite Campbell being a late bloomer, Spezza believes that Campbell's "just finding his stride."
There are very few players in hockey who are more respected than 19-year veteran, Jason Spezza. He's one of the hardest working players in hockey and when he has all this praise for someone, you know he means it.
