Significant Development Out of Maple Leafs Practice Regarding Goaltender Anthony Stolarz

Although the Leafs are not saying it is a concussion Stolarz is dealing with, it is widely suspected the former second-round pick was concussed, and according to Chris Johnston
in his piece for The Athletic last week, the minimum amount of time a player must miss and go through protocol when dealing with a head injury is seven days.
That means that Stolarz is technically able to dress for the Leafs on Wednesday night. Whether he will or not remains to be seen, but he is certainly progressing, which is great news.
Ahead of practice on Wednesday, Stolarz took to the ice for the first time since his injury with goaltending coach Curtis Sanford.
Woll has done a solid job in holding down the fort for the Leafs without Stolarz, especially in Game 4, but there was certainly a comfort factor with the Stanley Cup Champion between the pipes in comparison to having Woll in there in Games 1, 2 and 3.
With a further update expected following practice, Leafs Nation may finally be able to breathe a sigh of relief. Even if he doesn't suit up for Game 5, it would appear as though a return for Game 6 may be in the cards for Stolarz.
