Midway through the second period of Game 1 against the Florida Panthers, Joseph Woll replaced Anthony Stolarz after a blatant cheap shot from Florida's Sam Bennett.

While the Panthers were on a power play early in the second period, Sam Bennett attempted to jam the puck past Anthony Stolarz. During his attempt, Bennett deliberately delivered a fist/forearm shot to the head of the Leafs' netminder that caused play to stop as he collected himself.
A few minutes later, the Leafs were sent to the power play, but during the commercial break, Stolarz was over at the Leafs' bench before heading down to the dressing room.
Many speculated that he was pulled by the concussion spotter, but there was no confirmation on that. It was something the Leafs were not pleased about during their series with Ottawa when John Tavares was pulled by a spotter.
As Woll took the net, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman posted on 'X' that Woll was permitted a warm-up, but did not receive one, indicating that the pull may not have been due to the concussion spotter.
Whether the Leafs and Woll declined a warm-up likely won't be made public until at least after the game, but the health of Stolarz will be everyone's concern should he not return to the game.
