With Jack Roslovic still unsigned, the Maple Leafs' top free agent target is starting to pique the interest of European leagues like the KHL.

Free agent forward Jack Roslovic remains unsigned, which is a little surprising considering his ability to score goals. If the offers he's receiving from NHL teams don't meet his demands, we could see him going overseas with a recent report implying that he's piqued the interest of the KHL.
According to Dylan Griffing from Elite Prospects, Roslovic has received multiple bids from KHL clubs, which could be problematic for the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are still trying to move a roster player or two to alleviate cap space to sign him.
Rumours have been rampant regarding the Leafs' interest in the Ohio native. Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman mentioned pretty early on during the off-season that it was a move that made sense for both parties, considering Toronto's need for a top-9 forward and Roslovic's history with players like Auston Matthews and Max Domi.
Roslovic and Matthews had spent some time together during their junior years in the U.S. National Team Development Program. As for Domi, the duo played side by side for 2 seasons when they were both members of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Those early reports were coming out in July and as we approach the midpoint of August, the 28-year-old remains unsigned. Friedman touched on the topic once more, earlier this month, stating that there are 5-6 teams interested in his services and that Toronto remains in the hunt.
His contract demands don't seem too egregious either as Cam Robinson from Elite Prospects noted that his camp is looking for a 3-year deal in the neighbourhood of around $3 million per season.
With the Leafs short on cap space, a trade would be required, and while Roslovic was willing to wait for Toronto to move a body or two to accommodate his incoming salary, it remains to be seen if he's still going to be that patient with lucrative offers coming from overseas leagues.
