"Toronto Maple Leafs' fans will likely see some long serving Leafs wearing different jersey's come October. Among them, James van Riemsdyk, Tyler Bozak, Leo Komarov and Roman Polak. Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas said he could still possibly sign them, however the reality is none of them will be in a Leafs jersey to start the season. According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, Komarov might have already found his next home. Pagnotta reports that Komarov and the New York Rangers are currently in discussion regarding a multi-year contract and it will likely get announced on Sunday. If this comes to fruition, we wish Komarov the best of luck and hope he gets a nice pay check after putting his body on the line for the Leafs during the last five seasons.
The New York Rangers have been in talks with forward Leo Komarov on a multi-year deal. Sounds like it's getting to that point. Wouldn't be surprised to see deal finalized on Sunday. — David Pagnotta (@TheFourthPeriod) June 28, 2018
