Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving has been very active this off-season, but despite his efforts, he is reportedly disappointed with how things have played out so far.

Brad Treliving started the off-season making a franchise-altering trade when he shipped Mitch Marner to the Vegas Golden Knights on July 1st.
Along with shipping out Marner and getting Nicolas Roy in return, Treliving made a trade with the Vancouver Canucks to acquire Dakota Joshua and another with the Utah Mammoth for Matias Maccelli.
Even though he added much more depth, Treliving is having issues finding another top-six forward despite having been linked to the majority of the more intriguing names on the market.

Brad Treliving Reportedly Disappointed With the Leafs' Off-Season Thus Far

Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli appeared on Bleacher Report's 'The Notebook' this week, where he noted the frustration of Treliving, due to how active the team has been.
"I'd imagine that the Toronto Maple Leafs aren't done. If you think back to the summer and all the different names that have been moved, they've probably been in on or had conversations about 60-75% of those players. So I think it's been, in some ways, for Brad Treliving, a little bit of a disappointing summer because he wants to be so active and aggressive, but yet hasn't necessarily gotten anything [big] done."

With training camp still six weeks away, there is still plenty of time to find a top-six forward, but at this point, many believe the roster the Leafs currently have is what they will enter the season with.
However, Treliving is not one to stand pat and like Leafs Nation saw during his first season, he will continue to work the phones until he gets what he wants.
