The Leafs reveal their personal all-time favourite Swedish hockey players ahead of Global Series

On Thursday morning, the Leafs' social media team dropped a video from before yesterday's practice at Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. In the video, the players were asked on their way to practice who their favourite Swedish player of all-time is.

Obviously, there were quite a few "William Nylander" and "Calle Jarnkrok" answers from the Leafs, given that the boys want to stand in solidarity with their teammates, but some of the other answers included past greats like Mats Sundin and Peter Forsberg. The goalies, of course, selected Henrik Lundqvist, but Willy's answer tugs right at the heart strings.

I was surprised that there were no Börje Salming responses from the group, especially because a number of the players took in the Börje Premiere this week in Stockholm, but this group is largely very young and would likely not have seen many, if any, Salming games.

Personally, of all of the Swedish players that I had watched throughout my younger years, I would probably lean Peter Forsberg as my own personal favourite Swedish player as well - and it pains me to say that with Mats Sundin being one of the greatest Leafs of all time.
