The Toronto Maple Leafs have confirmed their full lineup for their pre-season matchup against the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena.

After a long and eventful off-season, the Toronto Maple Leafs' lineup is finally beginning to take full shape. While much of it is as expected, a few surprises have emerged as training camp winds down.
One of the biggest storylines is the timely rise of Easton Cowan, who has seemingly played his way onto the opening-night roster.
Cowan's arrival appears to come at the expense of Nick Robertson, who, despite signing a nearly $2 million extension, looks to be on the outside looking in to start the season.
Injuries or further adjustments could change that, of course, but for now, it appears as though Cowan has claimed the spot, and Berube has openly praised him all training camp.
Max Domi's return to full health also provides a boost, with his presence on the first line looking inevitable to start the year.
Meanwhile, newcomer Matias Maccelli is slotted onto the third line, where his playmaking touch will complement the grit and tenacity of his linemates.
Early indications suggest this line could quietly emerge as one of the best depth lines in the league -- and one Berube has said could play in every scenario and probably will.
For the first time since the end of last season, the Leafs are rolling out what looks like their full lineup on Thursday.
Anthony Stolarz is expected to get the start.
With the Canadiens coming to town on October 8th, Toronto fans will get their first true look at the group Craig Berube and Brad Treliving are putting forward for 2025-26 tonight.
The Leafs will hope this lineup not only finds chemistry early but also sends a strong message by knocking off the Red Wings in their first test with a full NHL roster and a whole new feel.
