Report: Marner Could Be Headed To Swiss League.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs and restricted free agent Mitch Marner still seem to be pretty far apart when it comes to contract negotiations. However he's not alone as there's actually 33 restricted free agents who remain unsigned.There's no doubt Marner will be one of if not the highest paid RFA when he finally gets a deal done. It doesn't seem like a deal for Marner is coming anytime soon and he likely won't attend training camp without a deal, but he could head overseas. According to Rick Dhaliwal of Sportsnet, Marner's camp has contacted the Zurich Lions of the Swiss League.
