"The NHL Awards took place last night and there wasn't much going on with it regarding the Toronto Maple Leafs besides Auston Matthews getting the NHL 20 cover.Thursday morning analyst Pierre McGuire made his regular radio rounds and spoke on the NHL Awards. While appearing on TSN1050 McGuire made a statement that the majority of Leafs' fans will love. McGuire explained that he believed Mitch Marner should have been in the Hart Trophy Conversation. He doesn't believe that hard though as he voted for Nathan McKinnon, Connor McDavid, Patrick Kane and Brad Marchand. Either way it's an interesting point.
