That continued on Wednesday as Sportsnets Elliotte Friedman reports that the New York Islanders have hired Leafs' assistant coach Jim Hiller. Leafs' head coach Mike Babcock has now lost two pieces of his staff as D.J. Smith also left the Leafs bench this summer to take the Senators vacant head coaching position.
