In an effort to develop the Canadian market, the NFL's Buffalo Bills are teaming up with Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment for a seismic partnership.

While Toronto has a sports franchise in the NHL, NBA, and MLB, the NFL remains the final hurdle. For the time being, Torontonians can share a closeness and a bond with the nearby Buffalo Bills, which is something that could develop even further in the foreseeable future.
According to several reports, the Bills and Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment are teaming up to announce a marketing relationship in an effort to grow and develop the Canadian market even more.
The event was scheduled yesterday at BMO Field, home of the Toronto FC in the MLS, and it involved the Bills COO Pete Guelli, MLSE President and CEO Keith Pelley, as well as legendary franchise icons like Doug Flutie, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, and Jozy Altidore.
The Bills understand that Toronto is a hot market, and since they're not in the immediate plans of the NFL, they want to use that to their advantage and develop Southern Ontario, according to Guelli.
It's the second largest media market in North America and part of our home territory. There are reasons to put those two together. We think we've transcended Buffalo with the quality of football we play.

There will be plenty of instances where the two brands will collide, including a Bills theme night for the October 4th matchup between the Toronto Argonauts and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Additionally, Real Sports Bar & Grill is expected to be the official watch party spot for the Bills this season.
Furthermore, the Toronto Raptors will have a themed-night during their regular season and the Bills have also arranged a deal with the clothing company Peace Collective.
With the NFL going international recently, they've already hosted games in Brazil and England, and are expected to play in Spain and Germany later this year, however Canada doesn't seem to be on their horizon.
This is as good as it gets for NFL fans in Toronto and with how well the Bills have played recently, spearheaded by MVP quarterback Josh Allen, it's a very exciting endeavour that MLSE is undertaking, and one that could potentially lead to future dealings with the NFL.
