Following their Game 3 OT loss to the Florida Panthers, Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube shared his honest opinion on the play of goalie Joseph Woll.

The Maple Leafs have turned to goaltender Joseph Woll following the injury to Anthony Stolarz after he took what replays indicated was an elbow to the head by Florida's Sam Bennett in Game 1 and hasn't played since.
Joseph Woll has taken over the starting responsibilities, but his stats haven't been the best. He's allowed 11 total goals since the 2nd period of Game 1, and his SV% isn't ideal.
Game 1: .850 SV%
Game 2: .893 SV%
Game 3: .861 SV%
After allowing 5 goals to the Panthers in their Game 3 OT loss, Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube dropped an honest take on how he felt about how Woll has played.
"I thought he was really good. I don't love the 4th goal, but other than that, I thought he was solid."

The 4th goal Berube referred to was a fluttering wrister from just inside of the blueline by Tomas Nosek that gave the Panthers a 4-3 lead late in the 2nd period. While Nosek used a pair of Leafs players as a partial screen, it was still a stoppable puck that found its way through Woll and into the back of the net.
Berube also explained that Dennis Hildeby dressed as the official backup to Woll in Game because of an illness to Matt Murray; both goaltenders were re-called from the American Hockey League after Stolarz went down with his injury.
Because Stolarz did not travel with the club to Florida, Woll will once again be getting the start in Sunday's Game 4.
