Sam Bennett absolutely destroys Mikhail Sergachev one-sided fight

The Florida Panthers got absolutely caved in by the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday, dropping an 8-4 decision to the road team just 24 hours after beating the Leafs in 3-2 in overtime, but Panthers forward Sam Bennett at least found a way to exact some revenge in-game.

During the late stages of the second period between the heated rivals, Bennett delivered a hard hit on Bolts defender Mikhail Sergachev behind the Tampa net that the Russian blueliner took exception to. The two willing combatants locked up and dropped the gloves.

Sergachev landed the first big shot, but unfortunately for him, it was one of only two decent shots he landed in the whole fight, as Bennett really took it to him.

The fight may have come as a bit of a retaliatory play for a hit that Sergachev had thrown on Claude Giroux earlier in the game. Safe to say that Bennett was able to get his pound of flesh.
