Jordan Binnington openly admits to throwing a water bottle at Nazem Kadri, explains why he did it
During Game 3 of the Avs/Blues series in round two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Blues defenseman Calle Rosen was attempting to make a defensive play on Avs forward Nazem Kadri, who was streaking towards the Blues net at high speed, looking to bat in a rebound. Rosen ended up clipping Kadri, with both players running into St. Louis goaltender Jordan Binnington, resulting in an injury.
After the game, while Nazem Kadri was taking part in a post game interview with the NHL on TNT panel, he appeared to be distracted by something going on beside him, revealing that Binnington may have thrown a water bottle at him during his interview. The 2019 Stanley Cup Champ did not even try to hide it, fully admitting to throwing the bottle at Kadri, explaining his rationale behind the decision.
