With the Stanley Cup Playoffs down to the final 4 teams and the vast majority of teams in the thick of their offseasons, it's coming up on rumour time, and boy is this summer shaping up to be a barnburner for the Maple Leafs.

We already know that the Leafs are going to be looking at a series of internal promotions from the Toronto Marlies to fill some of the team's depth roles and for someone like Nick Robertson, he could be looking at a full time role in the top 6 next season. But, what we don't yet know is who will be in the crease for the Leafs.

With Mrazek's disastrous and injury-laden 2021-22 campaign and the uncertainty surrounding Jack Campbell, who is due a substantial raise this summer, it's really anyone's guess what the Leafs' goaltending situation will be in 2022-23. The way it's sounding right now, the Campbell era in Toronto may be coming to an end.

Per The Athletic, Campbell has reportedly been linked to the New Jersey Devils.

The Devils, like the Leafs, have more questions than answers in goal. MacKenzie Blackwell has been trending in the wrong direction for a few seasons now and the Devils are going to be approaching their contention window in short order, so a strong goaltending tandem is going to be paramount in New Jersey. If they're interested in a long-term, big money pact with Campbell, it may be too good of a situation for the 30-year-old to turn down.
