Some wild news to report from on the Toronto Maple Leafs, as Auston Matthews likely to play, with another key Leaf perhaps preparing to miss Game 7.
Joseph Woll has been an absolute catalyst for the Maple Leafs, allowing just 2 goals over his last 2 starts, almost singlehandedly winning Games 5 and 6. If he does indeed miss Game 7, the Leafs are going to have to play that much better in front of Ilya Samsonov, who hasn't played nearly as well as Woll has in this series.
Elliotte Friedman has confirmed that all of Woll, Ilya Samsonov and Martin Jones came to TD Garden on the team's second bus, so it could be any one of the 3 netminders starting in Game 7, but Friedman did suggest Samsonov seems like the most likely starter tonight.
