The Toronto Maple Leafs have a serious cap crunch this summer on top of the roster holes they need to fill. On top of the list of course sits Mitch Marner who's likely looking at contract which should pay him somewhere around $10-11million a season on top of the pay raise which awaits Kasperi Kapanen who's also a restricted free agent. General manager Kyle Dubas needs to address the team's defensive situation even if Timothy Liljegren makes the NHL next year, the team needs another veterans Jake Gardiner and Ron Hainsey likely on their way out. Some analysts have pointed towards Patrick Marleau as being a possible trade casualty, however Marleau's influence in the locker room and his full no movement clause will likely keep in Toronto. The fingers that aren't pointing at Marleau are all lined up ready to ship forward Nazem Kadri out of town. After being suspended for the second straight season during the playoffs it seems Kadri's time in Toronto has a high possibility of coming to an end. The two suspensions are just part of a long list of suspension which include a team imposed suspension back in 2015. Kadri carries a modified no trade clause which allows him to submit 10 teams he can block a trade to. Do you think Kadri's time in Toronto is done?
