It's been an interesting decision regarding Toronto Maple Leafs forward Josh Leivo, the forward re-signed during the summer and has hardly played. Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos dropped a report that Leivo had requested a trade because of his lack of playing time, and Leivo still hasn't played. To be exact, the Leafs forward hasn't even played yet in 2018 as his last game was played on December 31st. Josh Tessler of EditorInLeaf brings up the idea that it's time to scratch Leo Komarov to get Leivo some game time action. To many, including Tessler, Komarov has been absolutely awful this season, however being one of head coach Mike Babcock's "guys", Komarov is playing no matter what his stats look like. Komarov has been missing out on some offensive opportunities lately, some opportunities that Leivo could have probably burried. While Leivo only has three points in 12 games thanks to his sporadic play, he did have 10 points in 13 games last year. Do you think Komarov should be traded or at least made a healthy scratch for one game so Leivo can get some action in and Komarov can evaluate his recent play?
