Over the last week or so we've heard about some reported big changes coming to the Toronto Maple Leafs roster. Amongst them is the fact that the team will likely start next season without defenseman Nikita Zaitsev. According to NHL insider Bob McKenzie, Zaitsev has asked for a trade and the Leafs are trying their best to fulfill his request. Well it seems Zaitsev is confident he won't be back as he's taken some parting shots at the Toronto media. "Everyone (in the market) said that the defence of Toronto was shit." he later added "Everybody wanted Muzzin. But he began to be smeared the next day. You just need to understand that this is Toronto. You will be defrauded because you are a defender." He also took a couple of shots at Don Cherry. "I'm amused that clowns like Cherry have a very big emphasis in our country as real experts" Zaitsev added "(What he says) will immediately be on the websites, as if this is a serious person of some kind."What do you think of Zaitsev's comments?
