"One of the main concerns regarding William Nylander and his contract negotiations is where it will leave the Leafs in regards to the salary cap.With Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner needing new contracts next summer, the team will be up against the cap hard, especially if Nylander gets anything close to what he's asking for. Somethings got to give....NHL insider Darren Dreger believes it'll be Nazem Kadri. Dreger mentioned recently that an NHL executive mentioned to him that when the upcoming cap crunch comes, Kadri is likely the odd man out. Kadri currently sits with a very modest $4.5million cap hit through the 2021-22 season, the contract also carries a modified no trade clause. At 28 years old, he could bring back an excellent return next summer. If it meant keeping Matthews, Marner and Nylander, would you be ok with trading Kadri?
