Maple Leafs Place 4 Players on the Trading Block, Per Trusted NHL Insider

The Toronto Maple Leafs have reportedly placed 4 players on the trading block as they look to clear some additional cap space to help facilitate a trade.
Multiple changes have already taken place with the Maple Leafs following their latest postseason disappointment, not the least of which was the official end of the Mitch Marner era in Toronto.
The Leafs may have been hit by a few subtractions, but have also re-signed forwards John Tavares and Matthew Knies to multi-year deals, both of which appear to be on the more team-friendly end of the spectrum. Now, the Leafs are said to be interested in UFA forward Jack Roslovic, but they would need to move salary to accommodate him under their salary cap.
Per David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, the Maple Leafs' interest in Roslovic is genuine, and in order to create some additional space, they could move any of David Kampf, Calle Jarnkrok, Nick Robertson, and/or Ryan Reaves.
As reported by TFP's David Pagnotta on "The Hot Stove" on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio on Saturday, as well as by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman on his "32 Thoughts" podcast on Sunday evening, the Maple Leafs are targeting Roslovic and are hoping to move out at least one current player before putting pen to paper.
The Leafs have just under $5 million in salary cap space, but they also have a surplus of forwards and GM Brad Treliving is trying to move at least one of them.
Forwards David Kampf, Calle Jarnkrok, Nick Robertson, and Ryan Reaves are all believed to be available.

Kampf, Jarnkrok and Reaves all have term left on their contracts, while Robertson is a restricted free agent who has recently filed for salary arbitration.
Roslovic had 39 points (22G, 17A) with the Hurricanes this year, and could be an intriguing add for the Maple Leafs.
