"Toronto Maple Leafs Kyle Dubas has made his first trade. Dubas sent the rights to 23 year old forward prospect Nolan Vesey to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange of a conditional seventh round pick in 2020. Vesey was the Leafs 2014 sixth round pick and just like his older brother Jimmy Vesey didn't look like he was going to sign with the team that drafted him. Jimmy was drafted by the Nashville Predators but refused to sign there, eventually choosing the New York Rangers. The Oilers will have until August 15th to try and reach an agreement with Nolan before he becomes UFA. He put up 11 goals and 14 assists at the University of Maine this past year.
