Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi may have landed himself in hot water following a controversial late-game hit from behind on Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov.
The Maple Leafs are coming off of a frustrating and physical 2-0 loss to the Florida Panthers in Game 4 on the road.
Perhaps the highest intensity moment came in the dying seconds, when Leafs fan-favourite Max Domi delivered a questionable hit on Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov.

Domi was assessed a five-minute major on the play, and speculation is already swirling that the NHL may issue further discipline. Panthers head coach Paul Maurice weighed in on the incident, as reported by Luke Fox on X:
"I think the league looks at those things very closely, especially at that point the game."
The team will be hoping any punishment from the league is minimal, as Domi's passion and edge will be crucial as the Maple Leafs look to bounce back at home in Game 5 after dropping two straight games.
