Elliotte Friedman Reports That Leafs Looking Into Subban Trade.

"Things are getting spicy in Toronto Maple Leafs' land. We're hearing that the negotiations between the Leafs and Mitch Marner aren't going very well at all. Some reports out there floating having Marner rejecting a $11million a season deal because it's dependant on Marner signing for eight years. General manager Kyle Dubas has already stated publicly that there's no guarantee he would match an offer sheet for Marner and could take the four first round picks instead. Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports Friday that the Leafs are checking in on Nashville Predators defenseman PK Subban, and could have serious interest if the Marner situation goes south.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have looked into the possibility of making a trade for PK Subban, dependant on the Mitch Marner situation, per sources of Elliotte Friedman.
