The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a trade on Saturday. Up against the cap, Dubas finally got the much talked about Patrick Marleau trade done. Even though Marleau reportedly only wanted to go to California he accepted a trade to Carolina. Along with Marleau, the Leafs send Carolina a conditional first round pick and a seventh round pick for a sixth round pick. All draft picks are from the 2020 draft.
