"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a roster move on Thursday. The team has loaned rookie defenseman Timothy Liljegren to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.Dubas also announced that the team has called up forward Nic Petan from the Marlies. This is interesting, does it mean that Jason Spezza is done with the Leafs? If that's the case why would they call up a player that head coach Mike Babcock has already called out this year?Either way, it's a nice gesture by Dubas to let Timothy Liljegren participate in opening night ceremonies last night.
