After all the speculation, the Toronto Maple Leafs finally named their new captain during Wednesday's season home opening presentations. We've heard already that it was supposed to be Auston Matthews, however all that changed with his disorderly conduct charge. Following the Matthews' fiasco, John Tavares received the majority of the predictions with some love being thrown at Morgan Rielly as well. On Wednesday night, John Tavares skated out with the "C" on his jersey. Tavares of course was the Islanders captain before coming home during free agency. What do you think of the Leafs' decision?
