Starting goalie Frederik Andersen is dealing with a groin injury and won't be available for Saturday's game against the New York Islanders. Andersen is currently listed as day to day and the team announced the emergency call up of Kasimir Kaskisuo from the AHL. Garret Sparks will start for the Leafs on Saturday. Andersen currently has 20 wins along with a 2.50 goals against average and .923 save percentage.
