Former Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand threw some major shade at the Bruins during his day with the Stanley Cup back in his home province of Nova Scotia.

The Toronto Maple Leafs were desperately hoping that Brad Marchand was going to reach free agency, as he was their top target this summer, according to various reports.
In the end, Marchand re-upped with the Florida Panthers after winning a Stanley Cup with the Atlantic Division powerhouse, though not before trolling Leafs fans into thinking there was a chance that he would actually sign in Toronto.

Brad Marchand Throws Shade at the Boston Bruins at a Tim Horton's Drive-Thru in Sackville, Nova Scotia During His Day with the Stanley Cup

This week, Marchand had his official day with the Stanley Cup, bringing it back to Sackville, Nova Scotia, and during his celebrations, he took one last parting shot at the Boston Bruins, while at a Tim Horton's drive-thru.
According to Philip Pritchard, the NHL's official Keeper of the Stanley Cup, Marchand ordered a Boston Cream donut at the drive-thru before negating the order and saying "uhh, maybe I better not."
Marchand signed a 6-year extension with the Panthers this summer at a much lower cap hit than he would have received on the open market. The veteran forward is not expected to play out the entire term of the deal, which has some convinced that the Panthers are attempting to circumvent the salary cap.
Marchand originally wanted to end his career with the Bruins, but the organization didn't want to bargain in good faith and pay him what he felt he was worth, which obviously soured Marchand on the organization. Still, after winning his second Stanley Cup and cashing in on a lucrative new deal, it's hard to feel bad for the league's MVP (most valuable pest).
