"There's lots of chatter surrounding the Toronto Maple Leafs recently. Of course most of it surrounds restricted free agent William Nylander who doesn't seem to want to budge from his $8million a season asking price, but a recent Kyle Dubas appearance blew up some trade speculation. After flying out to Europe to meet with Nylander and his representatives, Dubas made an appearance during a recent NHL game that started up some trade chatter. Dubas was spotted at this weekend's game between the Calgary Flames and New York Rangers in New York. Not only was Dubas at the game, Nylander's agent Lewis Gross was also at the game. NHL insider Bob McKenzie tweeted out that there's no need to look too much into the appearance as Gross lives in Manhattan and also represents Flames' star Johnny Gaudreau.McKenzie did at that trade chatter is possible, however to slow it down as it's normal to see Dubas make an appearance at a non-Leafs game. However it's interesting to point out that the Rangers had scouts in Toronto recently as well.
