There is absolutely no love lost between the San Jose Sharks and the Vegas Golden Knights - let's just get that out of the way now. The Sharks had one mission this weekend, and that was to play spoiler to the Golden Knights' plans for making the playoffs. They did just that with a 5-4 shootout victory.
During the game, a message appeared on the scoreboard above center ice. On the surface, it appeared to be a message about uniting fans and honouring the San Jose Sharks, but there was a special message encoded into the message that it took people awhile to get. Pretty tame, no? It doesn't look sinister in any way, shape or form. Are people's imaginations running away on them? No - it actually is quite fiendish if you know what you're looking for.
Originally, it was believed that the message was posted by someone within the Sharks organization, but it has since been revealed that it was actually a fan who bought some ad time and decided to share his message at the game. Well done, you diabolical genius!
