Sergei Ovechkin, son of Alex Ovechkin, already making waves in the hockey world after the 6-year-old snipes one past Igor Shesterkin in 4-goal performance at a charity game.
Everyone knows Alex Ovechkin is currently the greatest goal scorer who ever lived, thanks in large to him staking his claim to Wayne Gretzky's all-time goals record this past season.
While there's at least one active player, Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews, who has a chance to one day challenge for the record, perhaps it will be another Ovechkin's destiny to break it -- Alex Ovechkin's 6-year-old son, Sergei.
Over the years, Ovechkin and his wife have shared numerous videos of young Sergei firing pucks into a net at their homes in Washington and in Russia, but the latest clip released has Sergei, at 6 years old, scoring a goal against NHL star Igor Shesterkin.
The tally was one of two scored against Shesterkin by the young Sergei Ovechkin, and in all, the future hockey star tallied 4 goals for his legendary dad's team.
It's actually wild to see the a child actually be able to shoot a puck like this, but hey -- when you're Alex Ovechkin's son, there's no question that the apple probably won't fall too far from the tree. When your dad is the greatest goal scorer in hockey, you're probably going to get pretty good, pretty fast.
