"The season isn't even halfway finished and one of the biggest topics continues to be the upcoming contracts of Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner. The two forwards will be restricted free agents after the season and everybody hopes the Leafs' avoid the situation they had with William Nylander. Nylander of course held out until December when he eventually signed a six year deal. The Leafs' forward was asked by TSN's Gino Reda if he had any advice for the two forwards after his drama. "Just get it done before the season starts," Nylander said. "That's probably the one thing you'd want, to get it out of the way."Kind of funny advice considering Nylander had the biggest holdout in RFA history.
