"The Toronto Maple Leafs made a pretty big statement over the last couple days. Toronto put together back to back wins against the second place Winnipeg Jets to give themselves an 8 point lead on the Jets. Unfortunately during the two game series we saw the Jets crash the crease quite a bit and it's been a bit of a reoccurring theme.As we saw against the Jets, Leafs' forward Wayne Simmonds has had enough of it. "I'm sick of guys jumping on our goalie and being allowed to spear our goalie and the refs not calling it."
Dubois got a little adventurous in the Leafs' crease and Simmonds took him down for it. The Leafs have some time off before they play the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday.
