One TSN analyst reveals the most that the Maple Leafs will get for Calle Jarnkrok and David Kampf once they finally pull the trigger and trade them.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are doing their best to navigate a very tough summer after losing Mitch Marner to the Vegas Golden Knights.
Yes, they were able to avoid losing him for nothing, acquiring centre Nicolas Roy in the deal in exchange for re-signing Marner to a full 8-year contract before shipping him off to Vegas, but replacing him with the likes of Roy, Matias Maccelli and Dakota Joshua simply may not be enough.
The Leafs still have some cap space left to spend, with $2.93M remaining, but they can open up an additional $4.5M in cap space if/when they move Calle Jarnkrok and David Kampf, who are reportedly on the trading block in Toronto.

What the Maple Leafs Can Expect to Get for Calle Jarnkrok and David Kampf

As far as what the Leafs might expect to get back for each of Jarnkrok and Kampf, TSN's Bryan Hayes revealed on a recent episode of OverDrive that the Leafs shouldn't expect to get any more than what the Canucks got in exchange for Dakota Joshua.
"[Calle Jarnkrok] is still a good player in the league, that can play. David Kampf can play. There's going to be a market for him to play somewhere in the league -- there's 32 teams... if [Dakota] Joshua is getting a 4th [round pick], that's what you'd expect at best if you're going to move off of both of those guys."

It seems unlikely that the Leafs even get a 4th round pick for either player at this point, more likely a 5th rounder. However, with Jarnkrok putting up 20 goals a couple of short seasons ago, perhaps if added to a package, he can help yield a bit of a better return.
As far as Kampf goes, Hayes mentioned the San Jose Sharks and Chicago Blackhawks as a couple of NHL clubs who might make sense for the Czech forward. Both teams happen to be rich in draft picks, so parting with a 4th or 5th rounder is not out of the realm of possibility.
