The Toronto Maple Leafs were about extend their home winning streak with a 6-5 shootout win over the Dallas Stars Wednesday night, but it came with a cost.
Goaltender Frederik Andersen left last night's game with an upper-body injury and will be unavailable tonight. The injury was likely suffered on this play where Alexander Radulov was pushed into Andersen by Roman Polak causing the Stars forward to knee Andersen in the head. Garret Sparks was recalled from the Toronto Marlies and will backup Curtis McElhinney.
