Reaves' intensity, experience and leadership qualities were just a few of the reasons why the Leafs brought him in on a 3-year deal as a UFA this past summer. Sure, there were some bumps in the road throughout this season, but when push came to shove, Reaves came to play and made a believer out of Sheldon Keefe, who has been very complimentary of the veteran winger in recent weeks.
Reaves was not in the lineup for Game 6, but his presence was still felt and his message to the team seemed to light a fire under them. Hopefully, they can get the job done in Boston in Game 7 to complete the full comeback.
