The St. Louis Blues continue to struggle and they could end up being the perfect team to help the Toronto Maple Leafs. We've heard the Leafs connected to Colton Parayko plenty of times over the last two seasons, but the real target could be somebody else. Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos reported Saturday that the Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas have made inquiries regarding Blues' captain Alex Pietrangelo.Pietrangelo will become UFA in 2020 and despite the Blues' struggles is still labeled as one of the top defenseman around the league. Kypreos suggests the Leafs should try and unload Nikita Zaitsev and his contract on the Blues, however that's probably not an option and the Leafs would have to likely give up Kasperi Kapanen as a starting point. A package would like contain Kapanen, a draft pick and prospect. Would you be willing to make a trade like this?
