"The passing of legendary Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Johnny Bower left the city, province and country sad as soon as it was announced. Not only did the Leafs' legend leave his mark in the past during his playing days, he was also the hardest working member of the Leafs alumni with the record for most appearances. After a tough road trip for the NBA's Toronto Raptors with losses against Dallas and Oklahoma City, the Raptors returned home on Friday to take on the Atlanta Hawks. Before their game the team had a nice message to honour Mr. Bower pointing out that no other Toronto athlete has had such an impact on our community over the past six decades.
