"There was lots of chatter that Auston Matthews would be named the next captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs.However that might be put on hold for a bit. Yesterday it was revealed that Auston Matthews got into an incident earlier this year that looks like it resulted in a disorderly conduct charge. It even forced the Leafs' to make a statement. "The Toronto Maple Leafs are aware of the complaint of disturbing the peace against forward Auston Matthews," the statement reads. "Auston is cooperating fully with the relevant authorities but neither he nor the Club will comment any further out of respect for the process involved."
