"The Toronto Maple Leafs skated away with a huge 4-2 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning last night. The win helped fend off the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens for a couple of days as the Leafs try and hold on to the second place slot in the Atlantic Division. While Frederik Andersen put up a huge performance, forward Mitch Marner set a new franchise record in the win. In a contract year Marner became the first player in Leafs history to begin his career with three straight 60 point seasons. It's no wonder that Marner doesn't want to negotiate in season.Marner has scored in four straight games and is easily on pace to smash his career high 69 points he put up last season.
