The Toronto Maple Leafs took to the ice for practice on Monday morning with what appears to be their full NHL roster ahead of their annual team-building trip.

It's been a hard-fought battle in Maple Leafs training camp this year, with most players appearing to embrace the grind that Craig Berube and Brad Treliving are looking for in their team for 2025-26.
After a couple of weeks of juggling players around to find the best fit and attempt to find some quick chemistry, the Maple Leafs appear to be working towards finalizing the NHL roster ahead of the October 8th season opener.
On Monday morning, the Leafs took part in their final practice before their annual team-building trip in Muskoka, and the lines that participated in rushes have taken out most of the guess work as to what the 2025-26 roster might look like to begin the year. Spoiler alert: Easton Cowan was among those who dress as an NHL regular.
Cowan skated as the 4th line right winger next to Scott Laughton and Steven Lorentz -- two veteran NHLers who should really help to bring him along and look out for the rookie forward every night.
Max Domi appears to have earned the right to begin the season next to Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies, despite battling an injury to begin camp.
Matias Maccelli, who began training camp skating with Knies and Matthews, looks to be penciled in next to the other two Leafs newcomers in Dakota Joshua and Nicolas Roy, and 20-goal scorer Bobby McMann appears to have earned a look with John Tavares and William Nylander.
From top to bottom, this Leafs lineup looks very balanced and competitive. Each line possesses at least one bulldog, and each line also possesses some offensive flair, which could create matchup nightmares for opposing teams on any given night.
In some additional good news, Anthony Stolarz, fresh off of signing a new 4-year extension in Toronto, was a full participant in practice on Monday after being run into on the weekend during a pre-season matchup against the Canadiens.
Surprisingly, after signing a PTO with the Leafs on Friday, James Reimer was not backing up Stolarz at practice. That spot was filled by rookie netminder Dennis Hildeby.
With two pre-season games remaining, there is still time for some last minute changes to be implemented, but all signs point towards this roster being the one we'll see on opening night.
