The Maple Leafs return to action today as they host their old friend Randy Carlyle and the Anaheim Ducks.
Justin Holl had a great run with the Maple Leafs, but he is now back with the Marlies. Roman Polak will return the lineup tonight and looks like he will be paired with rookie Travis Dermott. Andreas Borgman and Connor Carrick will be the odd men out tonight.
Mike Babcock will run the same forward lines we saw in Boston, which means Josh Leivo will be out of action once again.
Frederik Andersen starts against his former team tonight. He made 28 saves in a 3-1 win over the Ducks in Anaheim back on November 1.
The Ducks are without starting goaltender John Gibson who is nursing a lower-body injury. Former Sabres net minder Ryan Miller will start tonight. The 2010 Vezina Trophy winner is 33-19-3 with a .918 save percentage, a 2.62 goals-against average and four shutouts in 55 career games against the Maple Leafs.
