On Thursday, we saw the Leafs fail to capitalize on an opportunity to give themselves some breathing room atop the Atlantic Division, only securing one point against the lowly 32nd place Sharks.
Instead of taking to the ice during practice, Berube met with the media as Brad Lambert ran the skate. During his media availability, Berube confirmed there would be at least one change to the forward group for Saturday's game noting that Pontus Holmberg will draw back in.
Who Holmberg replaces is yet to be decided, according to Berube, as is his starting goalie for Saturday after subpar performances from Woll and Anthony Stolarz in their most recent starts.
Given how poorly the club played on Thursday, it wouldn't be surprising to see Berube throw his lines into a blender during the morning skate on Saturday to find a spark as they visit the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center, where the home team holds a ridiculous 26-3-4 record this season.
