Leafs Coach Craig Berube's Recent Comments Spell Bad News for Nick Robertson

While this is promising news for Pacioretty, it spells trouble for struggling forward Nick Robertson, as someone will need to be removed from the lineup to make room for the veteran Pacioretty.

On the other hand, while Max Pacioretty has been hampered by various injuries all season, his performance hasn't been much better than Robertson's, with just 13 points in 37 games, so replacing Robertson isn't necessarily a foregone conclusion.

If they're in a dead heat, the tie often goes to the veteran in that case, which could mean Pacioretty holds an edge over Robertson due to his physicality and veteran presence on the team. However, if Pacioretty is unable to get healthy or fails to make an impact in the playoffs, Robertson will likely be waiting for his chance to make an impact.
