While the Toronto Maple Leafs have yet to announce the official roster ahead of Wednesday's season opener, they appear to have reached a decision on Nicholas Robertson.

For much of training camp and the pre-season, Nick Robertson appeared to be on the outside looking in, despite playing very well along the way.
Leafs head coach Craig Berube has already given Robertson his seal of approval, noting his appreciation for how Robertson has handled himself during a high-pressure training camp, and it would appear as though his hard work has paid off.
Robertson skated on the Leafs' 3rd line at practice on Monday after previously having skated as an extra in the final few days of the pre-season. His bump to the 3rd line suggests that he has made the team. His comments on Monday following practice only affirmed that notion.
"I'm excited. I know the drill. It doesn't stop here. I have to take it on a game-to-game basis. It's my job to not give them a reason to take me out. I can take some confidence from that."
Robertson knows that nothing is guaranteed, and is approaching opening night with the proper mindset. Still, as he stated on Monday, the excitement is real.
The former 2nd round pick produced 14 and 15 goals in each of the last two seasons, respectively. If he does manage to stick with the Leafs all season long, it's not a long-shot to suggest that Robertson could produce his first career 20-goal season this year.
