While the world awaits the John Tavares decision, teams are keeping dialogue open with other players. The Toronto Maple Leafs are one of the teams waiting on Tavares, however they've been in contact with some other centers. With Dominic Moore and Tomas Plekanec gone, the team has been in contact with Tobias Rieder and still have open dialogue with Tyler Bozak. According to The Athletic, they're also in contact with 31 year old center Derek Ryan. Ryan spent last season with the Carolina Hurricanes where he put up 15 goals and 38 points in total.Do you think he would be a good replacement for Bozak?
